Sherrod Warranty 36 Months, 36,000 Miles LIMITED WARRANTY
Sherrod, Inc. warrants all items that Sherrod fabricates for installation in its conversion of the automotive chassis to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under ordinary non commercial use for thirty-six (36) months or thirty-six thousand (36,000) miles on the chassis, whichever come first, from the date of original retail purchase with the following exclusions, exceptions and limitations:
1. Warrantor. This warranty is granted by Sherrod, Inc., 3151 Industrial Blvd, Waycross, GA 31503. No Sherrod dealer has authority to change, alter or modify this warranty in any way.
2. Parties to Whom Warranty is Extended. Retail buyer; provided the product is used for non commercial, family or household use.
3. Items Not Covered. Sherrod does not warrant the chassis. Sherrod does not warrant parts manufactured by others which come with their own manufacturer’s warranty (audio systems, electronics, tires, etc.). Sherrod does not warrant anything other than proper installation. Sherrod provides manufacturer’s warranties with these products and information on how to obtain service. Purchasers should always follow these procedures should any problems arise:
The repair or replacement of items such as trim, interior moldings and other appearance parts manufactured and installed by Sherrod is confined to cases where the item is defective and not in cases of wear, neglect or accident.
Problems with body paint, exterior molding, and vinyl graphics applied by Sherrod are normally apparent during new vehicle inspection by the dealer and/or customer and are to be corrected at that time. Normal wear and tear due to use or exposure is not covered by this warranty. Exterior graphics, paint accents, tires and wheels are warranted for one year from date of purchase or 12,000 miles.
Any and all parts supplied with the chassis by the automotive chassis manufacturer are not covered by this warranty. These include but are not limited to engine, frame, transmission, factory air conditioner and heater, axles, brakes, suspension, tires, batteries, exterior paint defects and factory body defects (weld marks, etc.). See chassis manufacturer’s warranty with regard to these items. This warranty does not cover any equipment or alterations added by the dealer, any other sources, or problems with components related to such alterations. Non-standard features, such as electronics, navigation system, satellite, XM Radio, remote start and alarms will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
What Is Not Covered
Tires Tires are warranted separately by the tire manufacturer. The tire warranty is included with the owner’s literature supplied with your new vehicle. Damage caused as a result of any of the following is not covered:
Mishandling
Accident
Customer Abuse Misuse
Neglect
Abnormal Driving Conditions Acts of God
Wheel Balancing Electrical Upgrades Normal Wear & Tear
Fraudulent Claims Customer supplied items installed by Sherrod
Collision, fire, theft, freezing, vandalism, riot, explosion, or objects striking on the vehicle are not included.
Alterations, modifications or additions to the finished product after final assembly by Sherrod are not included. These are the responsibility of the party authorizing or performing the alterations, modifications or additions and not Sherrod. In addition, coverages do not apply if the odometer has been disconnected, its reading has been altered or mileage cannot be determined.
Damage or corrosion due to Environment, Chemical Treatments of after Market Products will not be covered. Damage caused by airborne fallout (chemicals, tree, sap, stone, hail, earthquake, water, flood, windstorm, lightning, and application or chemicals or sealants subsequent to manufacture, etc.) are not covered. Damage to vehicle, or it’s mechanical or structural systems, caused by hauling, towing or transporting material. Furthermore, Sherrod does not warrant the gross vehicle weight or the towing capacity of any vehicle.
Economic loss or extra expenses incurred are not covered. Examples include:
Loss of vehicle use Vehicle rental expense Payment of loss time or pay
Storage Inconvenience Lodging, meals, or other travel costs
Natural Material Changes. Any changes in color or hue of natural wood trim are not covered. Damage caused by lack of maintenance or by the use of fluids not recommended in the owner’s manual is not covered. Also, items requiring replacement or repair from routine wear, use and exposure are not covered. Examples include:
Light bulbs
Batteries
Fuses
Exterior graphics and paint accents are warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase or 12,000 miles. Repairs required to correct defects attributable to unauthorized repairs after the time of delivery is not covered. In addition, the vehicles sold as “used” due to transit damage, theft, collision, accident or other causes are not covered under this warranty. 5. This warranty does not cover any product which has been subject to misuse, neglect, alteration, accident, improper installation or improper maintenance, or which has been repaired outside of an authorized Pro Air, Inc. service facility in any way so as to affect adversely its performance or reliability. This warranty does not cover loss of refrigerant unless the loss is a direct result of a defect covered by this warranty. Normal wear of service items shall not be considered defects under this warranty. This warranty does not cover customer lost time, vehicle towing, renting vehicles or lodging.
6. This warranty does not include consequential damages, and Pro-Air, Inc. shall not be responsible for any such damages. Pro-Air, Inc. does not make, and does not authorize any person to make for it any warranty other than the foregoing warranty. Such other warranties, if any, as may be imposed or implied by law are limited to duration of this written warranty.
7. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, nor do they allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply.
8. This warranty gives specific legal rights, and other rights which vary from state to state.
9. Refrigerant replacement is covered only when the loss or refrigerant is due to a covered air conditioning part.
Cloth Shade Warranty The shade company will warrant all defective products for one (1) year from date of purchase or 12,000 miles. If a defect should arise, they will replace or repair the product at its discretion.
NO CREDIT will be issued.
They will not warrant broken cords, bent or warped slats, or product damage caused by improper installation, abuse or misuse. In the event their product is deemed defective in the field, certain labor allowances will be applicable to a recognized service dealer. Regular UPS freight to and from the repair facility will be paid. Any claim submitted that exceeds established policy without prior approval will be adjusted to a current rate.
To return the product for repair, you must call the Customer Service Department for a Return Goods Report authorization number. The Sales Coordinator will need to know the size, color, part number (if applicable) and date of purchase of each product returned along with a brief description of the problem. The Return Goods Advice number must be noted on all packages. Packages received without an R.G.A. number will be refused.
Reporting Safety Defects In the 50 United States and Washington, D.C: if you believe that your vehicle has a defect which could cause a crash or injury or death you should immediately inform the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). If NHTSA receives similar complaints, it may open an investigation, and if it finds that a safety defect exists in a group of vehicles, it may order a recall and remedy campaign. However, NHTSA cannot become involved in individual problems between you and your dealer.
